1. Caritas Community Charitable Trust – a local charity working to provide long-term solutions to homelessness in Guernsey. If you need immediate support, the organisations listed on their website can offer emergency housing, financial assistance, food, and other essential services.
2. Foodbank – Guernsey Welfare Service – operates the largest foodbank in Guernsey, with a dedicated store room at the Guernsey Welfare Centre, based at The Caves, Upper Mansell Street, St Peter Port.
3. Guernsey Welfare Service – a Christian charity that provides non-judgemental support to people in financial need.
4. Guernsey Community Savings – provide support if you are struggling to open a bank account or if the bank has closed your account. They also offer financial management education to those who need it. Their aim is to ensure a future where no-one in the Bailiwick will be financially excluded from the community.
5. Meals on Wheels – available Monday – Saturday, Meals on Wheels are available on a referral only basis and the facility is available to all ages, not just the elderly.
6. OLIO – Facebook group – a free app/online platform connecting community and retailers so surplus food and unwanted items can be shared for free rather than thrown away.
7. SOS Guernsey Food Angel – Facebook group – registered in Guernsey as a Non-profit Organization, is on a mission to combat food waste and promote sustainability in Guernsey’s food industry.
8. Supersavvysavers – Facebook group – for money saving tips, ideas and inspirations, budgeting tools and resources. Save money on household bills and everyday cost of living expenses. Local and online offers and deals to help you find a better bargain.
9. Victoria Hospital – Victoria Hospital Incorporated is a Medical Charity set up to assist Bailiwick of Guernsey residents with medical and medically-related expenses.
