Citizens Advice Guernsey provides a free advice and information service largely due to the money raised by its charity shop, combined with profits made from other fundraising activities.

The Citizens Advice Charity Shop is located at Mont Arrive. It is staffed by volunteers and will open from 10:00 am until 4.00 pm Monday to Saturday. Citizens Advice Guernsey is very grateful for any donations of good quality furniture, books, bric-a-brac, clothing and toys. Collection can also be arranged for items of furniture. Charity Shop Assistant Manager – Job Description

Volunteering Opportunities: 

We are always looking for volunteers to support our charity shop and local fundraising events.

Charity shop volunteers

Help with tasks such as serving customers, sorting donations, preparing stock, and keeping the shop welcoming and well-presented.

Event stall volunteers

Help run a stall for a few hours at local events during the summer and winter months, including the Donkey Derby and the Rotary Club Christmas Charity Fete.
