Citizens Advice Guernsey recently joined the Office of the Data Protection Authority (ODPA) to deliver a presentation on Lasting Powers of Attorney and Guardianship to the Guernsey Alzheimer’s Association Carers’ Group.
The joint presentation was delivered by Jeff Drew, an adviser at Citizens Advice Guernsey, and Rachel Masterton from the ODPA. It provided an overview of Lasting Powers of Attorney and Guardianship, including the differences between them, the importance of planning ahead and some of the practical considerations involved.
The session also gave members of the Guernsey Alzheimer’s Association Carers’ Group an opportunity to ask questions and learn more about the information and support available locally.
We were pleased to share our knowledge and work alongside other local organisations to help make important information more accessible to carers and the wider community.
